Market Access Manager (Limited Fixed Term Contract)Job Purpose:The successful candidate will report to the Head of Market Access and Stakeholder Relations and, working in close collaboration with commercial, field market access, finance and medical teams in addition to global HEOR and Value & Access teams to develop the market access strategy, value proposition and plans for key stakeholder groups (private and public) involved in the reimbursement process nationally and provincially. The key responsibilities of this role encompass the preparation of HTA submission dossiers to INESSS, CADTH and private Insurers (including clinical summaries, comparative effectiveness synthesis and economic modelling), development of pricing strategies, PLA Contract management, price negotiation and implementation.This job posting is for an existing vacancy in the organizationResponsibilities:Develops and executes market access strategies and evidence generation plans to meet HTA requirements aligned with country objectivesWorks cross functionally with global V&A and local medical and commercial functions to develop value propositions and messages tailored to multiple stakeholders including payers, clinicians, pharmacists and policy makers.Project lead (including day to day management) for national HTA, Private payer submissions, PLA management and pricing strategies working closely with regional stakeholder managers’ to ensure optimal patient access to new and existing Biogen productsContributes to the development and evaluation of innovative pricing strategies and PMPRB (including submissions) Develops and deploys market access solutions and tools to field teams (including training) facilitating key message development and needs from the field team.Anticipates, analyses and shapes future dynamics in the external environment impacting market access and reimbursement.Maintains strong compliance with all relevant internal policies, compliance and legal requirementsPerform company business in compliance with relevant regulations, company policies and procedures.All other duties requiredQualificationsEducationDegree educated in a relevant scientific/business discipline (or international equivalent)MSc in health economics or business equivalent preferredExperience, including # of yearsMinimum of 3-5 years’ strategic market access experienceThorough knowledge and understanding of the Canadian Healthcare systems and HTA processesPrivate Payer Experience highly desiredPrivate Payer/ Public negotiation experience preferredExperience in working in a dynamic, lean environment is an added benefitAbility to work across multiple digital platforms and early adoption of new systems/applications.Language(s)Fluent in English, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally spanning all levels of the organization, proficiency in French an asset.SkillsAbility to combine strategic vision with tactical hand-on execution and a high work capacityStrong technical skills with prior experience in assessing and critiquing health economic modelsHighly analytical with excellent written and verbal skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build working relations both internally and externallyCustomer focusedAdditional Information:The base compensation range for this role is 111,000 - 148,500 CAD.Direct Reports:NoneWork Location Designation for Role:Toronto, ON - HybridRevision date:Jan 2026 Job Level: ManagementWhy Biogen?We are a global team with a commitment to excellence, and a pioneering spirit.
