Position: Industrial Mechanic (Electro-Mechanical)
Pay: Starts at $36-$37/hour
Shift: 1st Shift (position requires frequent OT). Hours will vary depending on business need, 12 hour days can be typical.
Wehaveanimmediateopening in our state-of-the-art hot-dip galvanizing plantforafull-timeIndustrialMechanic.Thisindividualmustbeself- motivated, able to learn new concepts quickly, and able to multitask efficiently.
Thepositionisresponsibleforthefollowingbutnotlimitedto:
- Ahands-onapproachtomaintainingcranes,forklifts,andproductionequipment
- Weldingandfabricationoftools,fixtures,andspecialprojects
- Completingmechanical,plumbing,andelectricalactivitieswithinamanufacturing environment
- CompletionofOSHAandsafetyinspections
- Performtaskstosupportproduction,customerservices,andotherdailyplantactivities
- Supportcontinuousimprovementprojects
- Orderandpickupplantandmaintenancesupplies
- Assistsplantmanagementwithmaintainingstrictprocesscontrolsthroughoutallareas
- Interactswithothersubsidiaryandcorporatepersonnelwithahighlevelof professionalism
- Specialtasksandotherprojectsasassigned
Qualifications/Requirements
- Musthaveatleastahighschooldiplomaorequivalent
- 2+ years experience inindustrialmaintenance
- Abilitytoworkatheights
- MustbeproficientinMicrosoftOfficeapplicationssuchasWord,Excel,andOutlook
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
