- Position: Locum Tenens CRNA (Travel Contract)
- Location: Richmond, Virginia 23226 (Virginia healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Duration: 78 weeks (Start: February 2, 2025 End: July 31, 2026)
- Shift Duration: 8-hour (7am 3pm) and 10-hour (7am 5pm) shifts
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $5,950 $6,270 (competitive pay package)
- Electronic Charting: Epic EMR
- Supervision Ratio: 1 MD to 3 4 CRNAs
- Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 30
CRNA Qualifications
- Active registered nurse license in Virginia or compact state (Virginia CRNA license required)
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (COA or predecessor)
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience in a hospital or clinical healthcare setting
- Clean background required
CRNA Responsibilities
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia
- Monitor patient physiological conditions during procedures
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
- Deliver anesthesia care for general, cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, OB, and pediatric cases
