Group/Division The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.
Job Description/Preferred QualificationsResponsibilities- Service Revenue Management : Promote and manage service contracts to improve profitability.
- Handle technical inquiries and issues, and build strong customer relationships.
- Lead and support field service engineers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades.
- Work closely with sales, customer engagement and GSS to reflect customer feedback and improve service quality.
Skills/ExperienceThey will leverage extensive experience in building relationships with large, complex organizations globally. A proven track record of achieving service revenue targets and team goals is essential. Experience in selling service contract to leading-edge semiconductor customers is required. Understanding of technically complex products and the ability to effectively position them to a broad audience are critical.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related business field; Master’s degree in business or technology preferred
- 10+ years of experience in service, sales, or business development within the semiconductor industry. Ideally, the candidate has established relationships with Japan’s leading-edge customers (DRAM, NAND, and Logic)
- Minimum of 7 years of management experience, overseeing organizations of 15 or more people
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to work with customers, internal teams, and headquarters
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Level Degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience OR
- Master's Level Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
