The Casework Fabrication Lead is responsible for overseeing the fabrication of all custom casework and countertops produced by Adena Craft. This role serves as the secondary shop-floor leader under the Shop Manager, ensuring that work is done efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard of quality. The position works hands-on alongside the fabrication team while also taking ownership of workflow planning, quality control, training, and day-to-day production.
This individual partners closely with operations and project teams to ensure fabricated components meet design intent, schedule requirements, and installation expectations.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Lead and actively participate in the fabrication of custom casework, countertops, and specialty millworkPrepares and sets up machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturingEnsures that products meet industry standards and project specificationsApply finishes including stains, varnishes, paints, and lacquers as requiredInstalls hardware, such as hinges, handles, locks, catches, or drawer pulls, using hand toolsAttaches decorative or functional accessories to productsLoads and unloads materials and components when requiredSupport installation efforts when required, including travel to job sitesWorks with others to maintain safety and efficiency in the cabinet shopAs the work dictates, may be presented with opportunity to work on Adena jobsitesAdheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environmentOther duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications/Skills:
Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform duties of the roleMust maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving recordMinimum five (5) years of experience in casework / countertop fabricationCNC router and edge bander experience preferredMust be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may at times require overnight stays away from homeAbility to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyAbility to use equipment and tools in a safe and efficient mannerMust have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructionsAbility to work in a team environmentExcellent communication skills
