Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine required materials and dimensions.Select and prepare lumber or other building materials.Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials using saws, drills, levels, and fastening tools.Build structural frameworks including floors, walls, stairs, and roof decking.Install prefabricated components including windows and doors.Maintain structural accuracy and integrity using levels, plumb bobs, and squares.Construct scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.Unload, distribute, and organize materials at the jobsite.Follow safety guidelines and procedures in various weather and jobsite conditions.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.1 year of framing or construction experience preferred—but we will train the right individual.Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic knowledge of hand and power tools (saw, drill, etc.).Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mindset required.Able to perform physically demanding tasks: lifting up to 100 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing.Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedure manuals, and reports.Basic math and reasoning skills.
