Responsibilities: • Interact, initiate, and encourage the children in the activities during the day. • Help the children control behavior using a positive, appropriate approach; always to use a consistent technique. • Provide nurturance but help the children become independent. • Promote integral learning during mealtime; to help the children learn good social skills. • Maintain good communication with parents and to make each parent feel at ease at the Center. • Assist the teacher in planning activities for the group and to offer suggestions and information about the children. • Develop a cooperating and supportive attitude within the room. • Attend monthly staff meetings held by the Director of the Center. • Other duties as required.
