Length: 12 month contract with potential for extension Location: Tempe, AZ – hybrid, 2 days a week in office This position will be working with the Smart Meter Interval data. Below is the description I was given for the Resource Load Planning Technician. The first bullet point would capture probably 90% of what this contractor will work on each day. Job Responsibilities: • To interrogate interval data meters, process data through validation, editing, and estimation (VEE) techniques, and store processed data in a database for use in customer data requests, load research studies, and/or by Special Contract Billing. • Produces data in tabular and graphical forms for publication. • Tabulates new customer data requiring mapping of new residential, commercial and industrial loads. • Develops monthly performance indicators, involving calculation of variance for certain sales and revenue quantities. • Completes special projects as assigned by supervision and/or planning analysts. Description: This is mainly a task-based data entry role. The skills that would fit this role would be: • High school graduate • Some college courses could be helpful. Likely no higher than an associate's degree. • Attention to detail • Learns software quickly • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite
