Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector 2nd shift to join their team. As a Quality Inspector 2nd shift, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the production and inspection processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Quality Inspector 2nd shift
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay Range: $20.33
Shift: Salt Lake City, UT | B2 (12 hr) rotating shift | 6:30PM-6:30AM
What's the Job?
Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies according to inspection plans and specifications.
Utilize microscopes, calipers, and micrometers to conduct detailed inspections and measurements.
Complete 10-15 different types of inspections to ensure product quality and compliance.
Support procedural compliance by following all quality system regulations, including cGMP standards.
Assist in documentation processes, including preparing pallets for shipment and scanning documents for electronic archival.
What's Needed?
High School diploma or GED equivalent; AA or technical degree preferred.
Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA standards is a plus.
Ability to perform manual tasks and operate inspection tools accurately.
