BuyerASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a
Buyer who will be responsible for purchasing activities required to procure materials and supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner to support the manufacturing facility.
How You Will Help
- Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services.
- Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.
- Preparing and processing purchase orders.
- Maintaining records of all purchasing-related transactions.
- Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries to support production schedules.
- Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations.
- Work with Accounts Payable Department on resolving invoice discrepancies.
- Monitor market trends and conditions for products used by ASC.
- Perform other related duties as directed by Purchasing and Procurement Manager.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum of AS Degree in Business or related field.
- MRP experience a plus. Knowledge of Infor Manufacturing systems a plus.
- At least two years of clerical experience preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel proficiency required.
