Wireless and Power Specialist Lead is responsible for assisting in overseeing daily operations, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring the stability and reliability of both power and wireless systems. This role serves as a technical resource and point of contact for team members and management, supporting cross-functional collaboration and guiding upskilling initiatives. Is also responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairs of wireless communication and Critical Facility systems, including AC&DC Power system, UPS, inverter, Alpha-Gens, backup battery, all other related generators and associated electrical panels. Survey, operate, maintain and conduct a coverage test for Radio Access Network (RAN) nodes for 3G, 4G, 5G, Indoor DAS, FWA and microwave PTP/PTMP radio network.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES
• Coordinate daily assignments and ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Monitor infrastructure performance and escalate issues as needed
• Support cross-training and upskilling of team members in areas outside their current qualifications
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with operational standards
• Collaborate with management to identify resource gaps and recommend solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, issues resolved, and training progress
• Participate in planning and implementation of infrastructure upgrades or changes
• Serve as liaison between field teams and leadership to communicate updates, concerns, and recommendations
• Demonstrates initiative and accountability in leading daily operations
• Promotes a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Supports team development through coaching and knowledge sharing
• Maintains high standards of service quality and operational reliability
• Adhering to safety procedures and regulations, especially when working at heights or electrical equipment
• Install, configuration, repair, commission and integrate network access nodes 3G, 4G, 5G, Repeater, DAS (Distributed Antenna System), antenna system and FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) to ensure proper operation
• Survey, install, configure, maintain and repair all backhaul microwave transport systems and ensure performance according to design specifications
• Monitor RAN and wireless transport network for alarms, coordinate with NOC and take appropriate actions to resolve, and document resolutions
• Ensuring optimal signal strength and network performance by aligning antennas, adjusting settings, and performing routine maintenance
• Maintain, troubleshooting, and service Alpha-Gens, UPS systems, and other backup power equipment
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance for Cell site facility, Shelter, RBS, Generator, HVAC, Tower and AC/DC Power System
• Assist in performing RF drive tests and surveys of all technologies to ensure optimal coverage and performance, and generate reports
• Perform survey, installation and repair for FWA equipment to provide internet service to both residential and enterprise customers
• Attending trouble ticket, interacting with customers to resolve connectivity issues or explain service interruption, and closing of ticket
• Need to be on-call and respond in a timely manner during nights, weekends and holidays in the event of an emergency
• Perform other functions and duties that may be requested from time to time
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate degree in Electrical, Computer, Telecommunications Engineering or related discipline
• 2 years of telecommunication installation experience in aerial rigger, climbing and rescue operations.
• At least 5 years' experience in the management of aspects of telecommunications networks can be considered as a substitute
• Certification in Tower Climbing preferred at the time of hire
• Strong understanding of wireless communication principles, networking protocols, and power systems.
• Ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Power point
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to analyze complex issues, develop effective solutions using specialized tools and techniques.
• Understanding Ericsson mobile technologies, hardware, software and ENM management.
• Understanding of Point-to-point and point-to-multipoint microwave systems that may be deployed from time to time
• Relevant certifications such those climbing towers, wireless technologies and electrical system.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting
• Walk and sit, stand, talk or hear, seeing, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, and grasp
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Low to moderate noise level
• Traversing on foot to complete a task
• Use of upper extremities to maneuver
• Ability to climb heights up to 28ft or higher on ladder
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• Mandatory inter-island travel required at the company's discretion

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment
• Work requires extensive work using a computer
• Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported
• The job will also entail outdoor work to include some physical labor, including tower climbing
