OverviewPosition is contingent upon contract award and funding.
Sev1Tech is looking for a Senior Storage Engineer to support a team providing enterprise IT operations support for a DHS customer.
The project is focused on infrastructure management and operations - e.g., monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, unified communications, hosting - with an emphasis on automation to:
- Minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, and reduce human errorsImplement platforms that orchestrate work-flowsfor end-to-end task executionUtilize AI as well as predictive analytics to detect anomalies, predict failures, and initiate self-healing processes to reduce downtime and improve system resilience
Responsibilities- Bachelor's DegreeA minimum of 10 years of experience in Storage Administration specifically including:
- NetApp storage systems experience; that includes experience with NetApp systems administration support for large scale Windows/UNIX/Linux environments.10 years of experience installing and configuring NetApp storage systems.10 years of experience writing scripts with a scripting language5 years of experience using OCI5 years of experience in managing FlexPod integration with NetApp storage2 years of experience with AWS On-Premise and AWS migrationsFamiliarity with DevOps and ITIL processes
