Key Responsibilities- Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend system, hardware, and software improvements.
- Lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and network systems.
- Perform daily datacenter monitoring, validate logs, backups, and system integrity.
- Manage IT purchasing workflows and maintain asset accuracy.
- Develop clear, engineering-grade documentation (SOPs, configs, diagrams).
- Deliver training that ensures repeatability and process stability.

Requirements:
Basic:- Education:
- Associate degree (2-year) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows-centric environments, PC hardware, and user-level troubleshooting.
- Skilled in Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, VMware, and Cisco network administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot system, software, and network-related issues and perform diagnostic tests.
- Ability to follow and enforce IT security policies, a common requirement across regulated employers.
- Professional Skills:
- Logical thinker, self-starter, well-organized, and customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Able to produce clear documentation and follow standard operating procedures.
- Ethics & Compliance:
- Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values (4th Edition).
- Must handle confidential information with discretion.
- Legal Requirements:
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship available for this role.
- Must successfully complete an application, talent assessment, on-site interview, drug screen, and background check.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience providing support in a multi-site, large user base environment
- SAP end-user support experience. (WEG-specific operational preference.)
- Experience in SQL Server, Windows Server, VMware, and Cisco network administration beyond basic proficiency.
- Experience with ServiceNow or another enterprise ticketing/ITSM platform.
- Demonstrated experience writing or improving documentation, SOPs, or knowledge-base articles.
- Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri.
