Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9-hour shifts with an hour lunch, 15-hour call shift overnight, Weekend call 24 hours

- 6/12(7a)-6/15(7a)
- 12/11(7a)-12/14(7a)

Clinical Details

Practice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
EMR: Athena and Cerner
Trauma Level: 2
Patients Per Shift: Up to 12 for procedures, less inpatient
Procedures: Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, Diagnostic and Therapeutic procedures, Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic ultrasound, pH studies, sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J tube placement
EUS preferred
Resident or Teaching Supervision Required
Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time Required: 20 minutes
- Phone Consults: 2 to 4
Will not have a scribe for this assignment and will be responsible for all charting and work completion without an assistant joining them throughout the day
Provider is required to review all of their pathology and complete the line of work by communicating with the nurses the letters they want to send their patients with results and follow up recommendations
4 procedure rooms/Endo Suites
Olympus, Hydrogen breath testing, Capsule endoscopy, Propofol

Requirements

Board Certification Required
Fellowship Preferred
License: Must be licensed in MI
Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS
ERCP
Will only consider providers with full availability of the dates needed and not partial
