Title: Field Facilities Professional Location: Nationwide Duration: Direct Hire / Permanent Pay: $65,000 - $85,000, DPOE We are seeking Field Facilities Professionals to support building enclosure testing, quality assurance, and forensic investigations on a wide range of construction projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on fieldwork, learning how buildings perform in the real world, and growing a career in building science and facilities engineering. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals on both new and existing buildings, gaining exposure to building envelope systems and industry-standard testing methods. What You’ll Do Perform field testing of building enclosures, including water penetration, air leakage, and material adhesion testing Observe and assess installation of air barriers, waterproofing, roofing, walls, windows, and curtain wall systems Document fieldwork through notes, photos, and clear written reports Identify and communicate construction or installation issues to project teams Coordinate testing with contractors and site personnel Assist senior staff with investigations, mock-ups, and forensic evaluations Maintain testing equipment and follow all safety procedures What We’re Looking For High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Building Science or related field preferred Up to 1 year of experience in facilities assessment, construction, or building science Comfortable working outdoors in hot or humid conditions Able to climb ladders and carry testing equipment Valid driver’s license and strong attention to detail Why This Role Hands-on experience with real buildings and real systems Exposure to specialized testing and forensic work Strong learning environment with mentorship from experienced professionals Clear opportunity to grow into more advanced technical and project roles FootBridge is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive environment where everyone is valued and respected.
