Mission:
Maintain equipment and processes in compliance with customer and OPmobility requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Start up, shut down, blow molding machine
Start up, shut down, Flex cell, SCR equipment, Prototype equipment within facility
Maintain blow mold machine
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Material Handling System
Troubleshoot process problems and provide documentation of actions performed
Perform preventative maintenance
Other responsibilities as assigned, including:
Optimize processes
Implement continuous improvement solutions to reduce scrap and improve efficiency
Appropriately manage downtime events
Perform daily 5S and housekeeping tasks
Lockout Tag-Out:
Full understanding of the LOTO concepts, and its application
Method, devices, and instructions used to lockout/tagout machinery
Choice of appropriate level of LOTO (when we have to apply complete LOTO, or partial LOTO or “door locked” only)
Able to perform risk analysis before LOTO and work performed inside machines
Ability to train and coach other technicians on LOTO and safe work practices
Responsible to advise when standard work instructions are not covering a necessary specific activity
Responsible to check the correct application of LOTO, in line with procedures
Seek guidance from EHS Specialist for any concerns regarding LOTO
Other Requirements:
Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises
Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
