Join Conagra Brands in Troy, Ohio home of the iconic Slim Jim as a 3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor. In this role, you will lead overnight sanitation operations to ensure equipment, machinery, and the facility are consistently clean, safe, and compliant with food safety regulations. You will manage sanitation teams, execute sanitation programs, and partner cross‑functionally to support production readiness, food safety culture, and continuous improvement across the plant.This is a hands‑on leadership position that plays a critical role in protecting our brands, our people, and our consumers.Your ImpactLead, coach, train, and develop the 3rd shift sanitation team to ensure safe, effective, and consistent cleaning practicesPlan, organize, and execute daily, weekly, and periodic plant‑wide cleaning and sanitation activitiesEnsure sanitation execution meets all FDA, USDA, GMP, and HACCP requirementsDevelop, maintain, and execute key sanitation programs, including: Master Sanitation / Master Cleaning Schedule (MSS / MCS), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), Environmental Monitoring & Swabbing Programs, Sanitation effectiveness verification, Plant Improvement Plans (PIP) related to sanitationConduct routine plant inspections, audits, and pre‑operational checks; track corrective actions through completion using digital systemsPartner closely with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and external contractors to drive continuous improvementSupport and reinforce a strong food safety and sanitation culture across the facilityIdentify sanitation risks and promptly escalate food safety concerns to leadershipEnsure proper use, handling, and compliance of sanitation chemicals and cleaning agentsSupport sanitation equipment care and reliability, including CIP/COP systems and TPM fundamentalsLead by example in safety, professionalism, accountability, and teamworkYour Experience:High School Diploma or GED3+ years of sanitation and/or food safety experience in a manufacturing environmentPrior sanitation leadership or supervisory experienceWorking knowledge of: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP programs and verification, FDA and USDA regulatory requirements, Clean‑In‑Place (CIP) and Clean‑Out‑of‑Place (COP) systems, Environmental monitoring and microbiological principles, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) fundamentalsFluent in English; bilingual skills are a plusPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsRegularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hearFrequently required to work in wet, noisy, and temperature‑variable environmentsAbility to occasionally sit, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, climb, and balanceAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsRequired to have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustmentExposure to sanitation chemicals, cleaning agents, and production equipmentReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functionsRelocation assistance is available for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
