www.cranecurrency.comHow you will make an impact:This role ensures workforce readiness and operational excellence at the manufacturing site by managing the Manufacturing Dojo and developing structured training plans. It directly supports consistent quality and productivity across all production lines. The coordinator ensures new hires receive comprehensive, hands-on training that accelerates their integration and performance. It will develop training plans and mock training scenarios to maximize the training experience. Through tracking and monitoring training progress, the role helps maintain compliance with safety and operational standards. Ultimately, this position drives skill development and continuous improvement, contributing to the site's ability to meet customer demands efficiently.
- Coordinate and run all Manufacturing Dojo activities, ensuring sessions are properly staffed and resources are available.
- Design and update comprehensive training plans for each manufacturing role, incorporating hands-on learning and standardized procedures.
- Monitor trainee progress throughout the onboarding and development process, providing timely feedback to supervisors and managers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records in the Learning Management System (LMS) and other tracking tools.
- Partner with production supervisors and team leads to evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements where needed.
- Develop and distribute visual aids, job aids, and other instructional materials to support learning and retention.
- Ensure all training programs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, including internal and external audits.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires by coordinating initial training schedules and ensuring readiness for production work.
- Continuously review and enhance training programs based on feedback, performance metrics, and evolving operational needs.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:Required: - High school diploma or associate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or training coordination.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred: - Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Prior experience facilitating hands-on technical training.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data reporting tools.
