Join our team as a Maintenance Technician II, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of UK HealthCare (UKHC) facilities. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you'll handle a wide variety of maintenance tasks, from routine upkeep of building systems to addressing unscheduled repairs. You will troubleshoot and repair plumbing fixtures, HVAC components (like air handling units, thermostats, and valves), mechanical systems, and architectural hardware such as locksets and doors. Your expertise will extend to addressing issues with wastewater piping, fire alarms, medical gas, motors, and more.
Additionally, you'll tackle minor repairs on ice machines, roofing, steam systems, pumps, and automatic doors.You will also play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff by helping to keep sidewalks and entrances clear of snow and ice in winter months. If you're a hands-on problem solver with a broad range of technical skills, this role provides a great opportunity to showcase your talents and contribute to maintaining a safe, functional environment at UKHC.
