Overview
Assist with application file review and the selection of the JD and transfer classes. Direct development and implementation of all aspects of pre- and post-admission recruitment strategies including institutional data collection, assessment and dissemination. Evaluate effectiveness of all recruitment activities. Play a key role and participate in the development and execution of the Law School's financial aid strategy. Serve as a spokesperson for the School at various recruitment events. Supervise the implementation of and participation in undergraduate school fairs, information sessions, panel presentations, tours, class visits and related events. Recommend and participate in the design of new application procedures, forms, and other marketing materials. Contribute to the office mission of leveraging current databases to create efficiencies. Directly supervise associate and assistant directors.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:
Juris Doctorate (J.D.)
Required Experience:
5+ years progressively responsible admissions/recruitment experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years in admissions/recruitment from a top tiered Law School.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interviewing, public speaking, verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Frequent travel required.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $75,000.00 to USD $115,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
