The Lead Conversion Intern will support driver recruiting efforts by engaging directly with candidates, conducting prequalification interviews, and maintaining accurate documentation in recruitment systems. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help meet hiring goals, gain hands-on experience in the logistics industry, and build foundational skills in communication, candidate engagement, and data tracking. Through shadowing and active participation in daily recruiting operations, the intern will develop a strong understanding of both the business and operational side of transportation and logistics
Responsibilities- Shadow experienced professionals to gain insights into the industry and company operations.
- Collaborate cross functionally with other departments to achieve mutual goals.
- Make and received outbound calls.
- Conduct phone interviews and prequalify drivers.
- Documents all activity on Tenstreet.
- Provide weekly feedback on numbers and quality of candidates.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Ability to take verbal/written instruction and execute with confidence.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- High level attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Pursuing higher education in business administration, supply chain, data analytics or similar field required. Junior or Senior preferred.
