Travel throughout the State may be required and may include independent travel by State vehicle for extended periods of time. Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
The ideal candidate will have broad technical knowledge of the design and implementation of water resources projects, with an emphasis on groundwater monitoring network design and refinement, groundwater monitoring well installation, data collection, hydrologic studies of groundwater basins, groundwater management, water resource engineering, field methods and techniques, and data analytical skills. Candidates should also possess the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment; organize and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines; and analyze situations accurately and take effective action. Knowledge and experience using ArcGIS is a plus!
The following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
- Experience with planning and conducting hydrologic and related data collection and management activities.
