Structured Cabling Technician – Entry LevelLocation: New Albany, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st and 2nd Shift
Overtime: OT and occasional Saturdays may be required

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Entry‑Level Structured Cabling Technician to support cabling and low‑voltage installation projects in a professional construction environment. This role is ideal for individuals interested in starting a career in structured cabling, telecommunications, or data center operations. The technician will work under the guidance of lead technicians while developing hands‑on skills and technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Pull, dress, and label Cat5e and Cat6 cabling in accordance with TIA/EIA standards
- Assist with RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations under supervision
- Perform cable labeling and identification to support accurate documentation
- Learn and perform basic punch‑down terminations for telecommunications blocks
- Support cable testing using basic testing tools (Fluke, EXFO) with guidance
- Gain exposure to fiber‑optic cable handling, dressing, and basic installation practices
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Take direction from lead technicians, leads, and supervisors to complete daily tasks

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
