Our client, a leader in facility management and event support services, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting event setup, facility maintenance, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Morrisville, NC
Pay Range: $23-24/hr
Shift: M-F 7am-4pm
What's the Job?
Provide comprehensive event support by setting up and breaking down event spaces, including moving tables, chairs, and equipment according to specifications.
Read and interpret architectural drawings, diagrams, and floor plans to ensure accurate event configurations.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety assessments to maintain secure, well-maintained facilities.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, including basic carpentry, painting, flooring repairs, and equipment servicing.
Respond promptly to work orders and client maintenance requests to ensure smooth operations.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED.
0-2 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related fields.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proficiency with hand tools, cordless drills, and material handling equipment.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
