OverviewThe Project Capacity Planner is responsible for analyzing and forecasting resource needs to ensure that the organization can meet operational demandsefficiently. This role translates business demand into actionable workforce and operational capacity plans, balancing cost, service levels, speed, and utilization. Partnering closely with cross-functional and business owners, the Project Capacity Planner identifies resource utilization gaps, operational bottlenecks, and capacity risks while ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, growth objectives, and financial constraints.

Salary range for this position is $90,593.36 - $105,914.12with a progressive benefit package.

- Partners with business owners and functional leaders to align capacity plans with strategic priorities, goals, and constraints.
- Workscloselywithvariousdepartmentstoassessresourceallocationandidentifypotentialprocess bottlenecks.
- Evaluates currentandfutureworkloadrequirementsbyanalyzingdata and tradeoffs between cost, service levels, speed, and utilization when recommending capacity actions.
- Develops capacity models that balance demand, staffing levels, productivity, cost, and service targets.
- Develops scenario models (e.g., growth, demand spikes, staffing constraints) to proactively identify capacity risks.
- Monitors operational performance, utilization, and service levels across people and processes to identify capacity risks and improvement opportunities. Recommendsadjustmentsto improveoperationalefficiency.
- Conductscapacityanalysistodeterminecurrentandfuture resourceneeds,ensuringoptimalutilizationofresources.
- Preparesreportsandpresentationstocommunicatefindingsand recommendationstostakeholders.
- Oversees implementation ofcapacityplansandensurethatdepartmentsareadequatelystaffedandequippedto meetdemands.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Bachelor'sdegreeinBusinessAdministration,OperationsManagement,ora relatedfieldisrequired.
- Aminimumof3yearsofexperienceincapacityplanning,resource management,orsupplychainoperationsispreferred.
- Experience in operational, workforce, or enterprise capacity planning within a business environment (e.g., operations, supply chain, customer service, shared services).
- Demonstrated experience translating business demand into staffing, throughput, or operational capacity plans.
- Experience influencing decisions with senior stakeholders using data and scenario analysis.
- Professionalcertificationsinprojectmanagementorprocess (e.g.,PMP)areaplus.
- Stronganalyticalandproblem-solving skills to interpret data and make informed decisions. Scenario modeling and tradeoff analysis skills a plus.
- Proficientindataanalysistoolsandsoftware(e.g.,Excel,SQL, forecastingsoftware).
- Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskillstocollaborate effectivelywithcross-functionalteams.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and organizational skills.
- Ability to connect capacity decisions to financial and strategic outcomes.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and make recommendations with imperfect data.
Reporting RelationshipThis position reports to the Director Program & Change Management.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position is not responsible for the supervision of others.
