Working Conditions Ability to work at a desk using a computer keyboard several hours a day. Involves sitting most of the time but requires walking or standing. This position will be headquartered in the West Sacramento OSPR offices. Attend meetings, work with staff statewide to complete work assignments. This position offers the possibility of an Alternate Workweek Schedules based on the compatibility with branch objectives. Up to 5% travel is required via private or public transportation.
OSPR is a 24-hour oil and pollution spill response organization. The incumbent in this position will be required to participate in prevention and response training, drills and incidents throughout California, and called upon to /travel with short notice for extended periods (up to 7 days).
