Job DetailsDescriptionThe purpose of your role as a MRP Project Manager The MRP Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and delivering Harris's Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system implementations and improvements. This role coordinates cross-functional teams-including manufacturing, supply chain, technology, and finance-to ensure the MRP solution supports business goals, improves planning accuracy, and enhances operational efficiency.
Project Leadership & Delivery:
• Own end-to-end delivery of technology projects starting with MRP initiatives, including system implementations, enhancements, and process improvements
• Shape project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and success metrics to drive measurable results
• Lead data migration, system configuration, testing, and go-live execution
• Track post-launch performance and champion continuous improvement initiatives
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner closely with teams across industrialized construction, procurement, inventory, logistics, finance, and technology to deliver aligned solutions
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements
• Ensure seamless integration and alignment between mission-critical business systems
Vendor & Resource Management:
• Lead and coordinate vendors, consultants, and internal teams supporting MRP initiatives
• Set priorities, manage deliverables, and drive accountability across all contributors
Risk, Governance & Quality Control:
• Proactively identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution
• Establish governance standards, testing practices, and controls to maintain system reliability and data integrity
Change Management & Adoption:
• Lead change management efforts to drive adoption and user confidence
• Develop training materials, communication plans, and support strategies to ensure smooth and successful rollouts
What we're looking for in you• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of MRP fundamentals, including BOMs, routings, lead times, demand planning, inventory control, supply chain management, and supplier management
• Experience leading technology-driven projects from planning through delivery
• Demonstrated project management experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
• Background working in manufacturing and/or supply chain environments
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications preferred
