Research Technician

The University of Pittsburgh Department of Neuroscience is seeking a Research Technician to support Dr. Dylan Hale's lab. The Research Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory experiments and technical procedures, in accordance with established protocols and specifications. The role includes preparing, processing, and identifying specimens; operating, maintaining, calibrating, and testing laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality and sterility; and managing laboratory supplies through ordering, procurement, inventory tracking, and receipt of materials. The Research Technician will also maintain accurate, organized, and timely records of experimental data, results, and laboratory logs.
