We are currently recruiting for an
Inventory Control Specialist. What you will do in the position:- Inventory Duties
- Schedules Cycle Counts and Inventory Audits performed to written policies and procedures
- Monitors material transactions procedures through inventory trail diagnosis and multi warehouse inventory levels through weekly reporting
- Performs independent stock audits to ensure inventory levels are properly maintained during transaction processes and corporate Cycle Count Program
- Serves as the reliable source to oversee and maintain inventory transaction processes and their adherence
- Works with Supervisors to ensure bin sizing meets replenishment levels
- Reporting Duties
- Creates and maintains current metrics with reporting on cycle count accuracy
- Performs project updates and runs reports and files in accordance with policy
- Project Duties
- Maintains and supports projects related to inventory in an organized manner
- Communicates scope of project to managers and stockroom team
- Creates a stocking plan based on inventory levels
- Ensures inventory is easily accessible
- Maintains a well-organized stocking plan
- Work Area Maintenance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area
- Inspects assigned aisles per department guidelines
- Leads department Gemba walk with Supervisors and Managers
- Process Documentation
- Maintains Cycle Count Policy and ensure policy is up to date with current process
- Ensures all QMP's, SOP's, and work instructions are up to date with current process
- Administrative
- Manages time wisely
- Works as a member of the team
- Maintains good attendance in accordance with company guidelines
- Adheres to all Company health and safety policies and procedures
- Monitors department email and provides timely responses
- Utilizes department reports to maximize accuracy of inventory
- Provides excellent customer service to all departments and employees
What you will need to succeed:- Qualifications
- Required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Training software)
- Strong attention to detail
- Enhanced math and analytical skills utilizing Excel
- Good time management and organization skills
- Advance knowledge of Inventory Control Principles - Cycle Counting, Kanban Management, Independent Audits
- Knowledge of continuous improvement, root cause and Lean principles
- Desire for continuous improvement and growth
- Ability to work within a deadline under pressure and handle interruptions
- AX Experience

- AA Degree (2 years college)

The posted pay range, $23.79 - $31.73/hr, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
