We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Microminiature (2M) Instructor II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field. The role involves ensuring compliance with NAVSEA TE000-AA-MAN-010/2M and COMFLTFORCOMINST 4790.3 Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), providing readiness reports and updates to the 2M/MTR SharePoint website, and maintaining 2M/MTR recertifier and inspector certifications. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for providing on-site assistance to fleet personnel, evaluating technicians' proficiency, and coordinating investigations and program requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform instructor duties and provide 2M training.
- Provide readiness reports and updates to the 2M/MTR SharePoint website.
- Maintain 2M/MTR recertifier and inspector certifications.
- Assist fleet personnel in analyzing and resolving 2M/MTR issues.
- Evaluate technicians' proficiency and knowledge through examinations.
- Coordinate funding requests, schedule manpower, and equipment for program discrepancies and new requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Microminiature (2M) field.
- Microminiature and MTR certifications Proficient in NAVSEA TE000-AA-MAN-010/2M and COMFLTFORCOMINST 4790.3 JFMM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
Pay Range:
- The pay range for this role is $32.30 - $39.50/hr. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience
