https://www.mofo.com/officesABOUT THE ROLEThis role leads day-to-day facilities and office operations for the Seattle office. It ensures a safe, efficient, and well-run workplace. The position oversees maintenance, security access systems, safety and ergonomics programs, emergency procedures, and construction projects. It serves as the primary liaison with building management and external vendors. The role supervises reception, conference and guest services, office services, and outsourced partners. It resolves facilities and systems needs related to HVAC, electrical, furniture, equipment, and life-safety systems. The position improves and documents operational processes to drive efficiency and consistency. Through proactive communication and collaboration, it ensures high-quality service delivery with minimal disruption.
Lead overall facilities management for the office, including maintenance, security, cleaning, building systems, and continuous improvement of the workspace.
Anticipate operational needs, forecast trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining a pristine, professional environment.
Document and maintain facilities procedures, project logs, and operations manuals; provide regular updates to office leadership.
Serve as the primary liaison with building management and ensure compliance with lease terms, ADA requirements, and applicable regulations.
Oversee facilities service requests, preventative maintenance programs, and vendor performance to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Supervise reception, conference, guest services, and office services operations, including staff training, orientation, and service standards.
Manage conference rooms, office readiness, and catered services to support meetings, events, and client engagements.
Coordinate purchasing of office supplies, equipment, and services; manage inventory, stocking, and invoice approvals.
Manage facilities-related budgeting, billing, invoice review, and expense tracking in alignment with approved budgets.
Lead and support office projects such as space planning, office moves, restacking, and construction initiatives.
Negotiate and manage vendor and consultant relationships, contracts, and preventative maintenance schedules.
Lead office safety, security, emergency preparedness, ergonomics, and wellness programs, serving as the primary safety coordinator.
ABOUT YOU Bachelors degree preferred, with at least three years of supervisory experience in a client servicefocused environment.
Experience managing full-service facilities operations and delivering a high-touch client experience to internal and external stakeholders.
Background in law firm, professional services, or hospitality environments strongly preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with HRIS and Visio a plus.
Demonstrated experience managing vendors, contractors, and suppliers using project management best practices.
Working knowledge of facilities maintenance, building systems, life-safety systems, and applicable codes and regulations (ADA, OSHA, fire codes).
Proven ability to lead, supervise, and train teams while maintaining high service and performance standards.
Highly proactive, detail-oriented problem solver with strong ownership, judgment, and follow-through.
Excellent communication, organizational, financial, and negotiation skills; ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines, maintain professionalism under pressure, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible hours as needed.

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
Seattle salary range: $99k to $138k
