This includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center. Additionally, you will be responsible for order selection, replenishment, loading, and shipping of store orders. You are also responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.Candidates for this position must be available to work Monday-Friday ranging from 6:00 AM- 3:30 PM, with additional flexibility during peak seasons and periodic weekends. Subject to change.The selected candidate will need to have flexibility of working hours.Primary Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor:Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hiresEnsuring employees have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensure successful completion of tasksMonitoring and adjusting resources to achieve the daily production and delivery goalsBalancing workloads by taking readings throughout the day to achieve the appropriate level of volume by the projected time of completionMonitoring the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceededConducting staff meetings and verifying that daily worksheets are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basisProviding ongoing training and retraining of employees to ensure that they are prepared to meet or exceed the productivity standards for their functionUtilizing a variety of reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise during the workdayCommunicate effectively across all levelsAnalyzing information effectively to make sound business decisionsBuild high-performance teams while engaging and inspiring colleaguesRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of prior supervisory or group leading experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environmentMinimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred QualificationsSetting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and visionOrganizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasksMonitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coachingFamiliarity with company policies and legal guidelines.Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions.Excellent communication ad interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership skills.Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience EducationVerifiable High School Diploma/GED Anticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$43,888.00 - $76,500.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
