Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing Cardiology team . The selected provider will collaborate closely with physicians to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient clinic and skilled nursing facility settings. This role offers a patient-centered, collaborative environment with a strong focus on high-quality cardiac care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations with a cardiovascular focus
Provide cardiology services including follow-up care, diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and minor in-office procedures
Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, EKGs, echocardiograms, imaging)
Educate patients on cardiovascular health, lifestyle modifications, and treatment compliance
Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant medical records
Stay current with cardiology guidelines, best practices, and infection control protocols
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across outpatient and skilled nursing settings
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in cardiology or a related specialty
Strong clinical expertise in cardiovascular care
Proficiency in diagnostic testing and management of cardiac conditions
Working knowledge of ICD-10 coding and HIPAA compliance
Experience with cardiovascular diagnostic tools (EKG, stress testing, imaging review)
Phlebotomy experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
