Job Summary
- Assess patient condition.
- Performs diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Assists physicians with procedures.
- Assists in maintaining patient and room workflow.
- Participates in quality management activities.
- Essential Performance Expectations
Education
- Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Experience
- Experience is preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registered or attainment of registration within one year of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment. I.V. certification required before or during new hire orientation.
Compensation
- $21.15/hr - $34.55/hr based on previous work experience
