The Nurse Practitioner will:
- Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight coverage (7P 7A).
- Perform assessments, order/interprete diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
- Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings.
- Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management.
- Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Document all care using Epic EMR .
- Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes.
- Maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards.
- Participate in UCHealth OAP mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education.
- Not accepting fresh graduates (must have two (2) years of trauma surgery experience or the completion of a surgical fellowship is highly preferred.
