Gastroenterology Opportunity

This gastroenterology role offers the opportunity to step into an established, high-functioning GI practice with strong procedural volume and a clear path to long-term stability. Located in Northern Alabama, near Huntsville, this position blends autonomy, exposure to advanced scope, and a predictable schedule in a setting designed to support both professional growth and quality of life. Practice Overview - Join two experienced gastroenterologists supported by a dedicated nurse practitioner handling new consults
- Broad GI case mix including colonoscopy, EGD, hemorrhoid management, and optional ERCP
- On-site ambulatory surgery center with two GI suites
- Hospital OR with dedicated GI rooms and block time
- Hospitalist service manages ED and inpatient consults Monday through Thursday
Schedule - Four and a half-day workweek with approximately three and a half procedural days
- The clinic operates Monday through Thursday
- Average clinic volume of 20 to 24 patients per day
- NP support seeing approximately 15 patients daily for follow-up and flow
- Call rotation of 1:4 with low overnight volume
Compensation & Benefits - Guaranteed base salary of $700,000 for three years, with additional wRVU bonus potential
- $100,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance provided
- 200 hours of paid time off annually, plus CME time and allowance

- Malpractice coverage with tail provided after one year
Candidate Profile - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- ERCP experience welcomed but not required
- Open to fellows, recent graduates, and experienced gastroenterologists
