Overview: The role involves providing high-quality care to patients with chronic pain, supporting treatment plans, and working within a collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and pain evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized pain management treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications, including controlled substances, following state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in the EMR system
- Document treatment plans, medication usage, and patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities
Qualifications: - Georgia NP license
- Experience in treatment of musculoskeletal disease, and orthopedics is desirable, although not required
