Test Devices by Schenck has an exciting opportunity for a 3rd year engineering student working toward their Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering!
We are offering a paid Engineering internship during the summer of 2026. The Engineering Intern will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Primary duties include:
- Basic engineering tasks such as performing engineering change requests.
- Creating CAD models and drawings.
- Conduct technical research.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Duration/details:
The internship will span 10-12 weeks during summer months, depending on the student's school and vacation schedule. This is an in-person internship. You will work full-time 40 hours per week, over a 3-month period. Business hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. You will be given a one-hour lunch break. You will be entitled to 2 paid sick days.
- Must be a US Person.
- Be a current student at an accredited college or university.
- Be working toward a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred).
- Have GPA of at least 3.0 and be in good standing (letter of recommendation from professor or dean requested).
- Interest in machining and hands-on manufacturing.
- Have strong PC skills, including MS office.
- Have familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks preferred.
- Live local to the Hudson, MA area.
