RMC is seeking to hire a Help Desk Technician (day shift) 100% onsite in Crane, Indiana.
The chosen candidate will be tasked with:
- Maintaining a professional relationship with all customers and clients in a very busy call center environment.
- Providing technical support by responding to and resolving end-user problems.
- Identify, research and resolve technical problems at the Tier 1 level of responsibility.
- Documenting internal procedures.
- Assisting with the onboarding of new users.
- Supporting the maintenance of multiple classrooms including reconfiguring furniture layouts, cabling, general upkeep.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in researching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologies.
Requirements- One (1) year of Systems Administration and/or IT Help Desk Experience.
- Proven ability to efficiently utilize Help Desk tracking and ticketing systems; monitoring technical issues through ServiceNow and other ticketing platforms; preserving historical records and associated documentation to guarantee prompt resolution.
- Proficient in detecting and resolving data communication problems using specialized tools, testing equipment, and software utilities.
- Familiarity with the setup and configuration of new workstations, along with peripheral devices and software.
- Must be capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Certification Requirements:
- A DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + CE) is mandatory.
- Security Clearance Requirements: An active DoD Secret clearance is mandatory to begin employment. Candidates who are selected may undergo a security investigation and must fulfill the eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $60,000 to $70,000 (annually).
