We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Executive to join our growing customer centric sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing some of IDC's most strategic and specific client relationships within the technology sector. This role will be focused on delivering results to the company and the best possible customer experience to our valued clients. You will work closely with our product teams to deliver customized market intelligence solutions that meet unique client needs, driving opportunities forward from discovery to closure.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients in the IT and technology sectors across all IDC product lines.
- Deliver the best possible customer experience to our clients daily.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of existing accounts to maintain and expand the current revenue base.
- Understand client needs and challenges and match them with appropriate research solutions from IDC.
- Prepare proposals, conduct client presentations, and negotiate contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and accurate forecasting in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
QualificationsWhat You Bring- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development --preferably in market research or IT services.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry, including enterprise technologies, software, hardware, cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation and of course AI
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.

Compensation Transparency At IDC, we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. Employees are compensated equitably for their work, aligned with their skills and experience. Salary and incentive structures are determined through a rigorous process that considers experience, education, certifications, role-specific requirements, internal equity, and verified U.S. market data from an independent third-party partner.
The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $135,000-$200,000, inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
