OverviewReporting to the Director - IT Project Management, the Senior Project Manager leads complex, cross-functional IT, digital product, cyber, and software engineering initiatives at Alliance Laundry Systems. This role blends strong project/program delivery discipline with Agile/Scrum execution and (ideally) product mindset-partnering closely with Product, Engineering, UX, IT, and business stakeholders to drive predictable delivery, transparency, and measurable outcomes. The Senior PM ensures successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closure while enabling teams to deliver value iteratively.
Responsibilities- Lead full-cycle delivery for technology, digital product, and software engineering projects/programs, including scope, schedule, budget (as applicable), quality, risks/issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
- Apply Agile/Scrum (and hybrid) practices to plan and execute work: facilitate and/or support sprint ceremonies (planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives), backlog refinement, release planning, and roadmap execution
- Partner with Product Managers/Owners to translate product strategy into executable plans, milestones, releases, and cross-team dependencies; help define MVP scope and iterative delivery plans
- Build and maintain delivery plans and reporting (team and executive-level) using appropriate tooling (e.g., Monday.com, linear, or similar)
- Establish governance and operating cadence for complex initiatives (working sessions, cross-functional coordination, steering updates, decision logs)
- Proactively manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and remove delivery blockers; escalate and drive decisions when tradeoffs are needed
- Coordinate work across Product Management, Engineering, QA, UX, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure/Cloud, Data, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines
- Manage vendor/partner contributions (deliverables, schedules, risks, and communications) as part of the integrated plan
- Support change management activities that enable adoption (communications, training coordination, rollout planning)
- Improve project success rates through consistent use of Alliance project methodology, best practices, and continuous improvement of PMO standards/templates
- Mentor/coaching support to other PMs and teams on execution, delivery planning, and stakeholder management
QualificationsEducation and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or related field required
- PMP or CAPM preferred; CSM/PSM (Scrum Master), SAFe certification, or similar Agile credentials preferred
- 5+ years of experience in project management / delivery leadership experience, with a strong track record leading complex technology initiatives
- Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and/or Agile delivery for software development (product, platform, mobile/web, APIs, integrations, etc.)
Skills and Abilities:- Proven ability to successfully lead project teams and effectively communicate and collaborate across multiple levels in the organization
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Command of Agile/Scrum concepts (backlog management support, estimation, velocity/capacity, sprint/release planning, dependency management) and ability to operate effectively in hybrid environments
- Strong project management tool proficiency, advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Strong documentation discipline (charters, schedules, RAID logs, action items, release plans, status reporting, decision logs)
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Travel:- Ability to occasionally travel both domestic and international approximately 5-10%
Standard and Physical Requirements:Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
