This position is located in the city of Los Angeles .
Under the general supervision of the Regional Director, Manager III, the District Administrator (DA) is responsible for managing a program of vocational rehabilitation (VR) services within an assigned geographicl service area in support of the Department's mission and goals. Using proper initiative, good judgement, and resoucefulness must analyze situations and provide leadership to effectively plan and resolve problems.
Telework:
Under Goverment Code 14200, this position is a hybrid, in-office/telework position, and may be subject to change. Incument must live and work in California. Incumbent can be required to report to the office, or any designated location at any time. Telework agreements can be modified and/or cancelled at any time.

Working Conditions The majority of the work will take place in one of the following locations with consumers, the public, colleagues, and other stakeholders: a DOR open office setting in a cubicle environment, offsite in the community, at events and various partner locations, and/or at an approved alternate work location. The incumbent must have the ability to work in an office setting for up to 40 hours per week and remain at a workstation for extended periods while utilizing a personal computer, peripherals, and other office equipment with or without accommodation. The incumbent will be working in an office setting with both natural and artificial lighting. Strong interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with consumers, the public, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
