Position Summary:
This role supports the production team in daily operation of automated and semi-automated equipment.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Own continuous improvement (CI) projects on manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support process improvement, standardization, layout optimization, and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive improvements.
- Analyze data and trends to prioritize improvement opportunities.
- Support quality investigations and close Nonconformances (NCs) and own CAPA actions.
- Own projects for automation upgrades and standardization.
- Develops, evaluates and improves industrial manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.
- Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
- Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules or other information to facilitate production processes.
- Confers with vendors in order to determine specifications of products and arrange equipment, material purchase and parts.
- Evaluates products based on specifications and quality standards.

- Work under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training , assigning and checking the work of lower level employees. Referring only complex problems and issues
- Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems
- Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Frequent contact with external contractors/vendors.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 04-06 years related experience required.
- Occasional business travel required
- Regular and predictable attendance
