Position Summary: Provides support for machining operations of products and assemblies using manual and/or CNC machine tools. The machinist also performs preventive maintenance of machines, dies, molds, figures and tools.

Skills, Abilities and Mastery (Responsibility Matrix): Delivery: * Runs CNC machines, mills, drills, lathes, saws, shears, presses, punches and drill presses. * Setup and run basic manual machines to produce parts, dies, molds, and fixtures. * Maintain machines; sharpen tools, trouble shoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment. * Reads and interprets basic prints, draws sketches, corrects prints, designs step-by-step work processes. * Complete documentation (process and load sheets) * Works under direct supervision on tasks that are standardized and does not typically exercise significant independent judgment. * Resolves routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to senior Machinists.

Education, Experience and Certification Requirements: * 0-3 years' related experience * Trade Jobs- Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (1-3 years)
