As a Machine Builder at SDC , you will play a critical role in assembling custom automated machines based on detailed engineering documentation. This includes working with mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems. What You’ll Do: Assemble custom machines using mechanical blueprints and engineering documentation. Perform primarily mechanical assembly tasks, including pneumatic and basic electrical work as needed. Conduct operations such as mounting, fastening, drilling, tapping, leveling, and plumbing pneumatics or other tube/pipe-based systems. Collaborate with project teams to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve machine performance challenges. Support machine-building processes through acceptance testing and, if required, assist with on-site customer installations and start-up. Operate metalworking and cutting machinery to manufacture or modify custom parts. Perform auxiliary duties, including unpacking equipment, packing outgoing machinery, crating, and packaging.
