You will collaborate with the Sourcing and vendor management inventory teams to develop reports and makes strategic recommendations based on inventory forecasts, as well as analyze key metrics such as inventory levels, delivery times, lead times, and order cycles to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities- Collaborates with distribution, commercial and supply chain teams to develop and implement efficient stocking solutions for both internal and external inventory levels.
- Utilizes reporting and analytics to help determine business direction and needs, including metrics on stockouts, in stock rate, inventory turns, and general health of overall inventory.
- Forecasts inventory levels using inventory management software/systems for assigned accounts/ products to maintain min / max levels. Partners with the Sales, Inventory and Operations teams to align inventory strategy.
- Makes inventory recommendations to capitalize on price breaks, supplier rebate programs and buy ahead opportunities by analyzing supplier costs, terms, and other programs.
- Monitors inventory quantity adjustments and analyze adjustment reasons for unfavorable trends in the data, including scrap.

Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain or related field
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college in Supply Chain or related field. Other equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Professional certification in supply chain management or certification through APICS desired.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, including making recommendations which may be outside standard operating procedures
- Possess an understanding of the entire supply chain within the commodity and understands/communicates the impact of supply disruptions upstream
- Effectively communicates the impact of supply disruptions
- Continuous Improvement experience desired
- Strong analytical skills
- SQL and PowerBI experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Proficient with MS Office applications, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software, etc.
