ResponsibilitiesWhat we expect... (Essential Functions)- Define roadmap for software applications that align with business goals, objectives, and priorities. This includes application use, application integrations, dashboards, and business intelligence reporting.
- Serve as a key contributor to the longterm construction technology strategy, maintaining, updating, and publishing current and future technical operational policies, standards, and processes.
- Provide and establish team member training programs and material content in collaboration with Human Resources and facilitate team member training programs as needed.
- Perform periodic reviews of system usage to evaluate the consistency, impact, and effectiveness of systems, processes, and information produced.
- Responsible for monitoring project technology utilization and adherence to operational technology policies and procedures through monthly reporting.
- Guide the integration of various Operation technology solutions with IT, business functional leaders, and report status, progress, and priorities to executive leadership.
- Maintain broad understanding of AEC industry solutions and trends, guiding and developing potential operational use cases for improvement initiatives, and promoting Gray's use of technology to advance our construction operations internally and externally where appropriate.
- Participate in after-action reviews and identify operations technology system usage process improvements.
- Identify, evaluate, and oversee pilots of emerging technologies to advance Gray's competitive position.
- Planning, facilitating and executing continuous operational technology improvements.
- Other duties may be assigned.
QualificationsWho we want... (Requirements)Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university; minimum five to ten years of construction and related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must demonstrate a high level of technical competency and curiosity, and familiarity with the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry technology solutions, systems, processes, and tools used throughout the construction lifecycle. The ability to evaluate the potential impact of technology solutions and adapt to changing technology needs is critical in our rapidly changing industry.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong business acumen, and a high-level understanding of key technical concepts is critical. The ability to explain complex topics and concepts to leaders at all levels and guide the effective use and support of technology solutions on a construction project is essential.
Past experience working in construction and working understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Procore, Autodesk tools, PowerBI, or related construction management technologies is preferred.

Key responsibilities for this position will be in the Lexington, KY office, hybrid work arrangements for the ideal candidate may be considered.
Generally, normal office environment where noise level is moderate, and temperature/humidity is controlled. Overtime may be required.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis role directly supervises team members, including conducting performance reviews, providing coaching and feedback, managing workload, and supporting professional development. Responsible for ensuring team alignment with company values, safety standards, and project goals.
This role may, at times, oversee and manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, or third-party consultants. Responsible for setting expectations, monitoring deliverables, and resolving performance or compliance issues
