Required Skills and Abilities
- Coursework or experience related to quality systems, statistics, or process improvement
- Familiarity with basic inspection tools and measurement techniques
- Exposure to quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485)
- Experience with data analysis or basic statistical tools
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality concepts
- Root cause analysis, CAPA, and risk-based problem-solving
- Hands-on manufacturing floor experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow procedures and work in a regulated environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent residence required.
Education/Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Physical Requirements
Occasionally lifts, carries, or moves objects up to 50 pounds; Adequate manual dexterity to perform duties; work in office and/or lab environment.

At Edmund Optics, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring practices. The posted salary range for this role reflects the expected base pay. The actual offer will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, education, work experience, business needs, and geographic location.
Salary Range:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
