The Senior Manager, Retail Operations is a critical operational leader responsible for driving nationwide excellence in replacement window and door installation operations. This role ensures that field teams have the systems, processes, training, and infrastructure needed to deliver flawless installation execution and an exceptional customer experience across all markets. By overseeing centralized operations, onboarding, and operational enablement programs, this leader ensures scalability, consistency, and continuous improvement throughout our installation network. The Senior Manager works closely with Field Operations, Sales, Compliance, and Digital IT to refine the post‑sale customer journey—from contract to installation completion—while elevating operational capabilities across the organization.
Highlights of your role:
- Lead centralized and remote teams supporting window and door installation operations nationwide.
- Build and scale processes that improve installation efficiency, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify operational gaps and drive continuous improvement across the installation workflow.
- Oversee installer and field operations onboarding, training programs, and ongoing skill development.
- Develop unified training strategies to support team readiness and system adoption.
- Serve as subject matter expert for installation‑related systems and field enablement tools.
- Partner with Digital IT on system enhancements and technology improvements.
- Maintain system documentation, training materials, and communication resources.
- Analyze installation and operational KPIs and translate data into actionable insights.
- Provide performance reporting and recommendations for field leaders and executives.
- Lead initiatives to improve productivity, reduce friction, and increase consistency across markets.
- Act as liaison between Field Installation, Sales, Compliance, Digital IT, vendors, and installers.
- Support roll-out and scaling of new systems, vendor programs, and compliance initiatives.
- $125,000 - $150,000 plus annual bonus opportunity, pay based on experience
You’re a good fit if you have (or if you can):
- 7+ years of operations leadership, preferably in home improvement, replacement window and door installation, or construction service environments.
- Proven success building or scaling multi‑site installation or field operations infrastructure.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging installation and operational KPIs to guide decision‑making.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and improve complex field installation workflows in fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross‑functional leadership skills.
- Ability to influence without authority across teams and markets.
- High proficiency with operational technologies (e.g., CRM, Salesforce, Ingage, Designer) and a strong aptitude for digital transformation.
- Ability to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
