Responsibilities
• Train, lead and mentor warehouse associates in all areas of warehousing
• Ensure productivity and budgeting goals are met in an efficient manner
• Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
• Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
• Communicate with leadership to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems
• Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
• Ensure inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
• Monitor Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed at all times
Qualifications
• 3+ years' experience in a warehousing leadership role
• Ability to delegate when assigning employee workloads
• Problem-solving skills to mediate complaints and production issues
• Clear knowledge of warehouse operations
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Management skills
• Leadership and organizational skills to run the warehouse efficiently
• Proficiency in inventory software
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods when working on the warehouse floor
